Game Topic Suggestions

Suggestions needed for other sets of Characters that we could put into the next game

Let's do a brainstorm about who could be in it. Doesnt have to be about a
complete book/film can just be a selection (maybe just one race or one
gender). There is no boundary they can also be living persons.

Let me just throw something in the room... The Avengers

I'll stick with Tolkien as I've never seen Avengers

Is it limited to CE games? I use to go on LOTR forums that played last letter games and one word story games (stuff like that) (it was years and years ago)?



Could go for a Silmarillion CE game, or perhaps a chapter CE game (ie favourite book and/or film chapter?)

it doesnt have to be Character Elimination if it is interesting. Silmarillion wil probably be after LOTR because its probably more complex than LOTR.

Dont know how do you feel about a Dark Night Rises Game?

..as that's the subject we know we all have in common.

I wondered about dwarf or elf or hobbit eliminations or whatever, taking the names form one race.

Silmarillion would have to divide into sections as there are so many characters.

Or maybe other games, as Daniel says...

Perhaps The Children of Hurin. There are enough characters for a CE game, but not too many that would need paring down.

Although I havent read the book, someone just needs to send me the character list and we have another game

So, below is a list of characters from the book, The Children of Húrin. As with the LOTR CEG, suggest characters that should be added or removed. It's been a year since I last read the book so had a quick flick through, and this is who I felt deserved a place:

Could be...but even if you don't run it yet, atleast there us a list ready

I'd say better to save it until we're done with LotR - easier to concentrate on one (or in your cases, Chopsta and Daniel, two )

I took the liberty to hide the list again so that it is gonna be a surprise again, when the LOTR round ends in about 1 years time.

Feel free to add/remove; by my count, there are already 40. These came right from the best map I could find, which doesn't mean anything.

how about we split them up alphabetically into 2x20 and do them one after another?

want to split up the elven and dwarven strongholds. Aside from that, perhaps two first round games, taking the top five or so from each into the final round three?

will look into it when I have free time and dormouse, Armoracia and the other guy (kidding) had a chance to comment.

Sounds good to me. I rather like the idea of having rounds, and a final for the winners.
